In 1989, Aqua Media commissioned its' first UF (Ultrafiltration) system in the Automotive E-Coat market at August Laepple, an automotive parts manufacturer. Shortly thereafter a system with 100 x 4” membranes was installed at Ford and Mazda, followed by systems at BMW, Delta (GM), Nissan, Daimler Chrysler, Toyota, Volkswagen and many small automotive parts makers. Aqua Media cc is now well established in the water treatment market in SA, Africa and Asia. It supports a major portion of the market. Aqua Media cc designs, manufactures and markets containerised drinking water plants, membrane systems for various waste water, industrial effluent and general water quality requirements. Swimming pool filtration, recreation water parks and other water purification equipment to clients requirements into the African, South East Asian and South American markets.
